Barbara has been working in the real estate world for the past 32 years as a top listing and selling agent. Her integrity, high energy, warm personality and passion for BHI are the reasons for her success in this incredibly competitive industry. Barbara has been a full-time resident of the island for 12 years and a summer resident for 27 years giving her extensive knowledge of the Bald Head Island real estate market.

Her many repeat and new clients consistently seek her advice and trust her judgement from land sales to multi-million-dollar homes providing them with a great wealth of local resources. Whether buying or selling, Barbara educates them in every step of the process empowering them to make well informed decisions.

Utilizing her experience as a successful business owner, she is known for outstanding client service, high-tech marketing techniques, personal touches and as a skilled negotiator. Passionate about Bald Head Island, Barbara makes sure that new residents are warmly welcomed in the village community.

Barbara is the proud mother of four grown children who were fortunate to spend summers on Bald Head Island and still consider it home. She understands that her clients are investing in more than just a vacation property—they are creating a legacy lifestyle to share with future generations. Her four grandchildren frequently visit and have also developed a deep love for this special place. Her four grandchildren come often and have also fallen in love with this special place.

Prior to moving to BHI full time, she owned a boutique real estate company in New Jersey. In addition, she used her interior design background for designing and remodeling homes, and staging techniques to help clients present their homes in the best possible way. She is very involved in the BHI community She is a strong advocate for breast cancer research, fundraising and awareness and created the annual BHI Pink Weekend which has been duplicated in over 30 cities in North Carolina. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys gardening, golf, tennis, croquet and the beach with her chocolate lab Charlie. Becoming a grandmother has brought her immense joy, and she treasures every moment spent with her family.
